Description
Steam-distilled from a type of grass closely related to citronella and lemongrass, Palmarosa Oil was originally a product of India and Vietnam, though it has since spread to other regions. The oil’s aroma is sweet and grassy, with a unique rose-like quality that separates palmarosa from its similar counterparts. Palmarosa oil is also referred to as the purest source of natural geraniol; an incredibly important component of floral and fruity perfume work. As such, palmarosa remains a popular addition to fine fragrance items, as well as certain flavor applications in peach and apricot products.
